How to Calculate Golden Ratio in Mathematics?

Two given quantities are said to be in golden ratio if the larger quantity divided by smaller quantity is equal to the sum of two quantities divided by the larger quantity. It is also known as Mean Ratio, Divine Proportion and Section, Golden Number and Section.

Just enter the A+B : A and A : B inputs to  find the Golden Ratio.

Formula:

Golden Ratio = ( 1+Sqrt[5] ) /2 or 1.6180339887499
A/B = (A+B)/A = 1.6180339887499
