What is Voltage Drop?
In electronics, Voltage Drop is defined as the total amount of voltage loss that happens through all or part of a electric circuit due to impedance.
Formula:
Voltage drop (Vd)=P*I*L*R/D
Where,
I= Current Load of circuit
L=Cable length
R= Resistance factor of cable material
D= cross sectional area of conductor
P= 2 for Single phase ; 1.732 for three phase
